NYC Data #72: Princeton Gerrymandering Project, Casper, MLB, NYU, Your Tinder Data, Taxis vs Citibikes
Hi friends: happy October! I had a great time at Strata and I'm looking to put some of the things I learned into practice. I was particularly impressed with the talk on Dask, which is another amazing Python project out of Continuum. Also lots of new posts and jobs sent this way: thanks for your contributions everyone!
Junior Role
My good friends at Casper are looking for a few analysts: the data team over there is terrific and would be great to learn from.
Sam Wang of Princeton is looking for a Computational Research Analyst to support the Princeton Gerrymandering Project, which strives to quantify & reform extreme redistricting.
Mid-Level Roles
MLB Advanced Media is looking for Data Scientists.
NYU School of Medicine is looking for a rather technical data analyst.
