538 is looking for both junior and mid-level visual journalists, which basically looks like getting paid to play with d3 and mapping software.

NYC is looking for a data scientist 'primarily aimed at preventing and addressing homelessness, as well as to enroll uninsured populations in low- and no-cost health insurance and increase their awareness of available H+H Hospital services'.
